Summer 2026 Wines:
Leipold 'Silvaner Kabinett Trocken' 25 - This is basically everything we love about Peter’s wines – AND it’s a Kabinett Trocken AND in liter format. We swoon. The bottling is light and fresh, beautiful herbal notes, rainwater citrus, a bevvy of garden greens and a lovely percolating acidity. Just absolutely transparent wine that feels like it bubbled up from a spring.
Stein ‘Rosé Trocken’ 25 - Our favorite rebel/activist in the Mosel, Ulli Stein is one of the world’s most soulful growers. This is one of the few rosés from the Mosel and has become a cult favorite. Shimmering, dry with rigorous acidity.
Stein 'Riesling Blauschiefer Trocken' 24 - From his prime holdings in the village of Sankt-Aldegund from average vines of 60 years, ungrafted and on steep slopes. As the label indicates this wine is a calling card for Blue Slate (Blauschiefer), rocks pulverized into liquid form with a brisk and beautiful acidity. Totally dry or “Trocken”.
Roterfaden & Rosswag 'Terraces Red' 22 - A blend of mostly Lemberger with a dash of Trollinger and Pinot. If this region had a claim to fame - or something that it was proud of and widly planted, it would be the Lemberger (aka Blaufränkisch). They are always nervier, fresher and bluer fruited than their Austrian counterparts.
